If the massive amount of Corona-related media is getting to you, you’re not alone.  With most people home, we’re definitely spending a lot more time online. Whether we are browsing social media, trying to stay updated on the latest news or even using a social listening tool like Meltwater, it’s hard not to feel overwhelmed by all the information you’re taking in.

As a generally anxious person, I need a break from it all. Or at least some positive content to counter some of the generally bad news that now seems unavoidable. Here are some great brands and influencers if you need a break from it all.

Join a Dance Party with Mark Kanemura, @mkik808

Mark Kanemura is Lady Gaga’s former backup dancer. He posts amazing videos of himself dancing often in fun outfits that slowly disappear over time. It’s not a risque as it sounds. As more cities around the world are imposing quarantines, Mark has invited his followers to join him in a virtual dance party!

It seems to be a daily occurrence, and the results have been awesome. People are sharing stories of themselves dancing along with Mark. Parents have even shared videos of their kids joining in on the fun.

Get Mindful With Arianna Huffington, @ariannahuff

Navigating your mental routine during times of stress can be even harder than maintaining a physical routine. Arianna Huffington is no stranger to giving advice and has been sharing mindful tips with her followers on Instagram. For those looking to make micro-steps to combat the stress, one little reminds a day goes a long way.

One of Arianna’s previous micro-steps was to say three things you’re grateful for while washing your hands. This helps you not only stay positive but to make sure you wash your hands for the recommended 30-seconds. Yesterday I was grateful for wine.

Take a Free Yoga Class with Core Power Yoga, @corepoweryoga

Many fitness studios around the world have shut their doors for the foreseeable future, leaving many without their daily dose of exercise. If you’re looking for a way to stay active from the comfort of your home, Core Power Yoga has posted free classes on their website, available for everyone to access.

Staying inside all day can be rough, so it’s important to try and move in order to release endorphins. According to Elle Woods, “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t shot their husbands.” For you and your loved one’s sake, release some endorphins.

Just Look at Some Cute Cats, @my_boy_belarus

When in doubt, cat it out? Maybe not, but don’t deny the power of cute cate content when the going gets rough. Belarus is a crosseyed cat who will certainly put a smile on your face.

But, if you’re really not a cross-eyed cat person, check out Doug the Pug. Check him out below offering a little comic relief to our current toilet paper crisis.
